Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
This tapping techniques allows you to move charged and stuck energy out of your body and energy field to create a different experience and reality for yourself.
Scale the intensity of the problem or emotion associated with an issue from 1-10. Do the tapping script and then reassess to see if the intensity has reduced. If the number increases you have likely unearthed a deeper and more charged emotion. Great discovery-tap on the feeling or thought that came up until it is lower.

Holiday Coping Tapping on the side of your hand and repeating the following:
Even though I’ve got so much to do, I can’t relax and enjoy this holiday, I love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I’m stressed about everything that’s going on, I accept myself and all my feelings.
Even though I have a lot of anxiety about the holiday, I know that deep down I’m ok.
Eyebrow: I’m so stressed out.
Side of Eye: Too much to do.
Under Eye: Way too much going on.
Under Nose: No time to rest.
Chin: I thought holidays were supposed to be fun!
Collarbone: And restful.
Under Arm: I’m not having fun.
Top of Head: There’s just so much to do.
Eyebrow: All this anxiety about the holidays.
Side of Eye: I can feel it in my body.
Under Eye: This anxious holiday feeling in my body.
Under Nose: I can’t let it go.
Chin: There’s no way I can let this go.
Collarbone: What if I could relax just a little?
Under Arm: What if I could relax and still get stuff done?
Top of Head: Would it be possible to be busy and still enjoy the holiday?
Eyebrow: No way, I won’t get everything done if I’m not stressed out.
Side of Eye: Hmmm. It could be that I could relax and get it done still.
Close your eyes and allow an image or symbol come to you of being relaxed, enjoying yourself and still getting everything done.
Allow that image to expand and become brighter, more vivid.
Notice how you feel in your body surrounded by your image of moving through the holidays with ease.
Put your hand on the place you feel it most.
Under Eye: This image of ease.
Under Nose: Enjoying the holidays.
Chin: Getting things done with ease.
Collarbone: Relaxing and enjoying the days.
Under Arm: This easy feeling in my body.
Top of Head: Letting it expand and fill me completely.
Now close your eyes again and feel fully this relaxed, easy, enjoying feeling with the image you created of it.
Imagine the future in front of you – the days of the holiday ahead of you.
Fill yourself with that relaxed and easy feeling and when it’s at its
peak, imagine yourself stepping forward into the holiday, taking that
easy, relaxed, enjoying feeling with you.
See yourself doing all the things you’ll be doing – with easy and joy.
Hear the sounds you’ll be hearing, and experience them with ease and joy.
Imagine yourself in the various activities you anticipate and feel in
your body, that joyful, easy, relaxed feeling you brought with you into
this future.
When you’re ready, come back into the present moment. Know that
you’ve made significant, positive changes in your conscious and
unconscious mind that will create beneficial changes in your future.
